01What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Browser storage (localStorage) is similar, but the data stays on your device and is not sent to the server automatically.
02What we use
IQC uses only strictly necessary cookies and browser storage needed for the Website to work. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking cookies or third-party analytics.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| iqc_session | Cookie, strictly necessary | Keeps you signed in to the customer portal. HttpOnly: JavaScript cannot read it. Holds only a random identifier, no personal details. | Until you close the browser, or 30 days if you choose “Keep me signed in” |
| iqc_li | Cookie, strictly necessary | A flag showing that you are signed in, so the site shows “Go to portal” instead of “Sign in”. Not used for authentication. | Same as iqc_session |
| iqc_lang | Browser storage (localStorage) | Remembers your language choice (Vietnamese / English). Never sent to the server. | Until you clear your browser data |
| __cf_bm, cf_clearance | Cookie, strictly necessary (Cloudflare) | May be set by Cloudflare when it needs to tell real visitors from bots and block attacks. | 30 minutes up to 1 year, depending on the cookie |
03Why there is no cookie banner
All the cookies above are needed to provide the service you ask for (signing in, remembering your language, protection against attacks), so no consent banner is required. If we ever add non-essential cookies, we will ask for your consent first.
04Managing cookies
You can view and delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, you will not be able to sign in to the customer portal, but you can still read the website and use the AQL calculator.
